Horns

By Joe Hill

Ignatius Perrish spent the night drunk and doing terrible things. He woke up the next morning with a pair of horns growing from his temples. At first, Ig thought the horns were a hallucination, the product of a mind damaged by rage and grief. He had spent the last year in a lonely, private purgatory, following the death of his beloved, Merrin Williams. A mental breakdown would have been the most natural thing in the world. But there was nothing natural about the horns, which were all too real.

Researching Genealogy in Digital Libraries from Home

7:00 PM - 8:30 PM
Online
This program is online only, please register to receive the Zoom login information.
The COVID-19 Pandemic caused many libraries, archives and research facilities to shut their doors to genealogists, and some have yet to resume normal hours.  Researchers have turned to computers to pursue family history online.  Kathy Petlewski, librarian and NGS Magazine columnist, will introduce attendees to several lesser-known free digital libraries containing local history and genealogy information, including HathiTrust Digital Library, the Digital Public Library of America, and FamilySearch Digital Library.  During this virtual presentation, learn how to structure searches and then filter and limit hits for the best results using these products.  This program is aimed at family history researchers who are comfortable searching online and are eager to explore new resources!
This program has been funded by Friends of the Library.
